Ganiyat Adebisi Olatunde is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Abebi Foods Limited. She holds HND (Secretarial Administration), BSc (Business Administration) and MBA (Human Resources).
Her passion for entrepreneurship started from elementary school when her mum encouraged her to start a small business of buying Nido milk and repack in smaller units to sell to her friends at school. She was motivated by the little profit and her urge to own her own business began at that early age of her life.
Her dream to become an entrepreneur came to reality in 2016 when she registered her business – Abebi Foods Limited, which she named after her mother on whose advice she took the courage to register the business with Corporate Affairs Commission. The food processing business took off with just three staff from a 3-bedroom apartment to now ultra-modern food processing factory.
Having served as a staff of First Bank of Nigeria Limited for fourteen (14) years, she voluntarily resigned and joined Abebi Foods officially as the MD/CEO after 5 years of operating the business in proxy.
Adebisi is a business minded person who is always looking for new ideas to tap into, that will provide employment opportunities for the youths and also grow her revenue base. She set up Abebi Hampers and Souvenirs where all Abebi products are customized to suit various events, activities as well as festive periods.
She is a trainer, mentor and a visionary leader per excellence. She is passionate about her vision and the need to create market for the farmers by off-taking their produce and process into finished products, thereby providing employment for the citizens of her country.
